The engineering community of the University of Peradeniya dedicates its knowledge, effort, and resources to uplift the physical infrastructure of underprivileged schools. By improving these vital facilities, we aim to create safe, inspiring, and functional spaces where students can focus on their education and realize their full potential.
In 2025, Arunella carried out an infrastructure development project at Moragahamada Vidyalaya by building a new library for the school. This project aimed to create a dedicated space where students can read, study, and access learning materials more comfortably.
The new library will help improve the school’s academic environment by encouraging reading habits, self-learning, and curiosity among students. Through this project, Arunella continues its mission of creating lasting educational opportunities for schools with limited resources.
Arunella carried out an infrastructure development project at Hewavissa Vidyalaya, Marassana. The project focused on repairing damaged school buildings and improving essential infrastructure facilities to create a safer and more suitable learning environment.

In 2023, Arunella carried out an infrastructure development project at Wewathenna Maha Vidyalaya, Gampola. The project included the development of a smart classroom, the construction of a pipeline system, and the repairing of the school library.
Through the smart classroom, Arunella helped create a more modern and interactive learning environment for students. The pipeline system supported the school’s essential water and facility needs, while the library repairs helped improve access to a better reading and study space. Together, these developments strengthened both the academic environment and the daily facilities of the school.
In 2022, Arunella carried out an infrastructure development project at Balana Junior Secondary School by developing a smart classroom for the school. This project focused on improving the learning experience of students by introducing a more modern and technology-supported classroom environment.

In 2021, Arunella supported Tismalapola Junior Secondary School by constructing a new classroom building for the school. This project was carried out to address the shortage of proper classroom facilities and to create a safer, more comfortable learning space for students.
Through this construction, the school was able to provide students with an improved environment for daily academic activities. The project reflects Arunella’s commitment to strengthening underprivileged schools not only through educational seminars, but also through long-term infrastructure support.
